Fragrants
Oil-bearing rose(Rosa damascena Mill)
The composition of the extract is much more close to the natural scent of the rose itself, due to the high content of phenylethyl alcohol - the main component in a native odor.
The specifics of the solvent preserve the availability of scent fixation (some waxes), thereby ensuring durability.
It may be added directly in cosmetics and aromatherapy products, where a beneficial effect on the skin, body and mind.
Lavender (Lavandula Angustifolia Mill)
Smells sweeter and less floral than the essential oil. The odor has a crisp herbal edge and a slight balsamic note.
Calms the skin and also calms the mind as well. Valuable for a wide range of skin conditions from dry and oily to eczema and psoriasis.
It is a valued perfumery and aromatherapy material.

Properties of Extracts
All extracts can replace traditional spice in quantities from 1:25 to 1:500 in different meat, dairy and vegetable products. They sharply reduce bacteriological contamination, prolong life, improve the flavor and appearance of the foods. They are easily dosed and occupy small volumes in storage.- Preserved natural plant pH - no contact with water and pH affecting factors during process
- Preserved natural plant odor - no exposure to air and light during process
- Preserved natural plant microflora - no temperature influence during process
- Preserved natural plant strength - can be used directly in food or drinks
Phytopharmacy
Pharmacologically active intermediates
Purification of primary extracts
Refining crude products obtained from other extraction processes
Purifying contaminated materials
Emollients
Grape seed (Vitis vinifera)
Rich in essential fatty acids (Omega-3, Omega-6, and Omega-9) and vitamin E. The polyphenols and flavonoids found in this oil contain strong antioxidant activity.
Dog rose seeds (Rosa canina L.)
Rich source of linoleic and linolenic acid and vitamin C, helps the cell regeneration and improves the texture of the epidermis. The high levels of antioxidant flavonoids confer anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antiallergic properties
Semen gossypii (Gossypium hirsutum L.)
Energy for the liver and kidneys, strengthen the spine and knees, stop the bleeding (hemostatis), uterine contractions, suppress sperm production (according gosipol), reliever fever (antipyretic), anti-inflammatory, and skin softener.
Fruit Extracts
Raspberry
Fruit contains bioactive polyphenols including anthocyanins and ellagitannins with reported anti-inflammatory properties. Red raspberry extract possess cartilage-protecting and anti-inflammatory benefits, like lowering the incidence and severity of arthritis compared to controlled subjects. The health benefits include inhibition of inflammation, pannus formation, cartilage damage, and bone resorption. The raspberry polyphenols have potential cardiovascular protective effects and red raspberry diet may provide health benefits for the suppression of hepatic lesions. The observations strongly suggest that red raspberry ketone might increase dermal IGF-I production through sensory neuron activation, thereby promoting hair growth and increasing skin elasticity. The raspberry flavour is widespread for foods and drinks
Blueberry
Tle little blue balls are rich in anthocyanins, like malvidins, delphinidins, pelargonidins, cyanidins and peonidins. There are valuable organic acids, like caffeic, ferulic, coumaric, gallic and procatchuic. The strong antioxidants that catch the free radicals and prolonged the life are abundance here - the flavonols kaempferol, quercetin and myricetin.
The Nutritional Profile of blueberries is completed with sufficient amounts of vitamins C and K, microelements manganese and copper.
This little fruit softens dry skin, boosts your brain, and may even prevent cancer.
There is evidence that protection of the nervous system from oxidative stress can be accomplished by regular consumption of blueberries.
The antioxidant protection of the blood sugar regulatory system and the digestive tract, improve blood fat balances, including reduction in total cholesterol and help protect the blood components from oxygen damage that could lead to eventual clogging of the blood vessels.
Protection has also been shown for the cells lining the blood vessel walls. The anthocyanins in blueberry protected the retina from unwanted oxygen damage. Interestingly, they have also been determined to help protect the retina from damage from sunlight.
ATOMIC
COMERG has developed a breakthrough extraction and purification technology
The company’s Low Pressure Extraction technology combines novel extraction methods based on tetrafluoroethane (TFE).
TFE has been often overlooked to extract a wide range of compounds since industry adopted CO2 and other methods for historical reasons. However, the benefits of TFE are established:
- TFEs are extremely inert and only decompose under extreme conditions, therefore leaving no residue.
- TFEs are produced in high purity on a large scale, and therefore are lower cost.
- Critical pressures and temperatures are much lower than carbon dioxide, allowing the construction of low pressure and low temperature apparatus, and can be more selective reducing additional steps need with CO2: resulting in significantly reduced Capital and Operational Expenses.
- TFEs is a higher polar solvent than CO2 at lower pressures and the degradation of materials is much less, yielding much improved extraction results for sensitive natural products.
Applications for LPE system include a wide range of large scale extractions:
- Botanical extracts for the flavor and fragrance industry, and various drug bases.
- Active Pharmacological agents, particularly of the sensitive variety.
- Common and compound alkaloids and chemical intermediaries.
COMERG is now considering strategic partnerships with companies interested in developing proprietary ingredients and capable of complementing R&D and IP capabilities with large scale distribution networks.
